Mandatory Educational Qualification:-
Graduate in Engineering/Environment Science/ IT/ Rural Development from a recognized university
OR
Any graduation with 2 years PG degree in Rural Development / Sociology / Economics / Environmental Science / Biotechnology / Agricultural Science / Computer Science / Information technology / Computer Applications
Mandatory Experience Requirement:-
Minimum three (03) years full time work experience in implementation, planning, monitoring & fieldwork in rural development projects, involving:
a. Working at the grassroots level for projects related to rural/agriculture/infrastructure development or sanitation, whether urban or rural
b. Field experience as a Block / District Program Resource under any scheme of Rural Development, with preference to Swachh Bharat Mission
Mandatory Domain Knowledge & Skills:-
1. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
2. Proficiency in English, preference given to candidates with knowledge of local language(s).
3. Preference given to candidates having prior work experience under the Swachh Bharat mission, whether urban or rural.
Job Responsibilities:-
1. Plan and oversee the implementation of SBM Phase-Il in Panchayats/ Villages.
2. Coordinate with local Government Officials, Stakeholders, and Community Leaders to mobilize resources and support for the mission.
3. Conduct surveys and data collection to assess the current sanitation status of villages and identify areas for improvement.
4. Develop and implement an action plan to achieve ODF status in all villages within the Block by the deadline.
5. Monitor progress and report on the implementation of SBM Phase-II at regular intervals.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to field staff and community volunteers working on the mission.
7. Organize and conduct training and capacity building programs for local officials, community leaders, and volunteers on sanitation, hygiene, and related topics.
8. Ensure compliance with guidelines and standards set by the Central Government for the implementation of SBM-G Phase-II.
9. To coordinate with JJM District Project Management Unit for better convergence and coordination between JJM and SBM-G.
